Indigenous Wisdom: A Multidisciplinary Journal of Indigenous Studies is a peer-reviewed, open-access, journal that publishes scholarly research articles, article reviews, case studies, and book reviews on arts, literature, languages, philosophy, astronomy, culture, history, society, economy, law, political science, and security related to the Indigenous inhabitants of the world, drawing on a range of disciplines from the humanities and social sciences. The journal publishes four issues per annum. The editorial policy of the journal does not entertain any form of commitment to any political viewpoint or ideology.
Indigenous Studies is an academic field that explores the historical, cultural, social, and political aspects of Indigenous peoples worldwide. This multidisciplinary domain encompasses anthropology, history, sociology, political science, and cultural studies, providing a holistic understanding of Indigenous communities’ past and present. The aim is to highlight Indigenous voices, preserve their traditions, and address contemporary issues affecting these communities.

We firmly believe in the principles of OA philosophy and support OA initiatives. We are dedicated to making scholarly publications freely accessible to everyone. In line with this, we prioritize the open nature of knowledge and the freedom of access for all when publishing content.

Publication Frequency: Biannual
Indigenous Wisdom is published biannually, in May and October. The submissions are accepted on a rolling basis throughout the year. The authors are advised to check the journal website for the latest updates and announcements.
Language
The journal is published in the English language and we accept both UK and US spellings. Authors should refrain from using racist and sexist terms.
Peer Review
All the materials submitted to the journal will pass through Double Blind Peer Review Process and only suitable writings will be recommended by the reviewers.
