Call for Collaboration

Indigenous Wisdom: A Multidisciplinary Journal of Indigenous Studies officially announces the opening of its global collaborative window for the upcoming academic cycles. Published biannually by Pine Press, India, and guided by Editor-in-Chief Prof. Indranil Acharya, PhD (Vidyasagar University), the journal is dedicated to bridging the gap between mainstream academia and traditional Indigenous knowledge systems. As an active member of the UN SDG Publishers Compact, we advocate for social justice, cultural preservation, and policy transformations that directly empower Indigenous communities.

Core Collaboration Tracks

  • International Hybrid & Physical Conferences: Building on the success of the 1st Indigenous Wisdom International Conference (co-hosted with the University of East Anglia, Gauhati University, and Nagaland University), we invite universities to co-organize high-impact academic conferences in physical, or hybrid.
  • Joint Research Projects & Grant Proposals: Collaborative empirical fieldwork, methodology design, and funding applications targeting the documentation of vulnerable traditional epistemologies.
  • Structured Internship Programs: Hosting institutional cohorts of undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral students for practical engagements in Indigenous archive management, research writing, and scholarly editing workflows.
  • Editorial & Peer Review Panels: Distinguished faculty members are welcome to join our expansive international editorial and review registry to oversee our rigorous double-blind peer review process.

Aims & Multidisciplinary Scope

The journal invites collaborative projects, event models, and editorial panels addressing the following subject areas:

  • Cultural Studies, Oral Histories & Revitalization Frameworks
